- Introduction
This Referral Program Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms and conditions governing the Cirellum referral program (“Program”) operated by Cirellum Limited (“Cirellum”, “we”, “our”, “us”), a company incorporated in Ireland (Company Registration Number: 803398), with registered offices at Phibsborough Shopping Centre, Phibsborough Road, Dublin 7, D07 P80E, Ireland.
By participating in the Program — whether as a referring participant or as an invited new learner — you agree to be bound by this Policy in full. This Policy forms part of and must be read together with Cirellum’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Payment / Billing Policy. - Program Overview
The Cirellum Referral Program is a loyalty initiative that rewards existing learners for introducing new participants to the platform. The Program operates on a simple principle: when an existing registered account holder (“referring participant”) invites a friend who is new to Cirellum, and that friend successfully completes their first course or lesson package purchase, the referring participant receives a 10% discount credit applied to their next qualifying purchase.
The reward is a single-use 10% discount on the referring participant’s next course or lesson package purchase. It is not a cash payment, not a recurring benefit, and not transferable to any third party. The invited friend does not receive a reward under the current structure of the Program, unless a separate welcome promotion is active at the time of their registration.
There is no limit on the number of friends a participant may invite. Each successful, qualifying referral generates a separate 10% discount credit. Credits accumulate independently and are each valid for 90 days from the date of issue. Where multiple credits are held simultaneously, they are applied in chronological order, with the oldest valid credit used first. Only one credit may be applied per transaction, and credits cannot be combined with one another or with any other active promotion or discount code. - Eligibility
3.1 Referring participant
To be eligible to participate as a referring participant, an individual must hold an active registered account on cirellum.com, must have completed at least one confirmed course or lesson package purchase, must be 18 years of age or older, and must be in good standing with no outstanding payment obligations, no active account restrictions, and no prior history of policy violations. Cirellum reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage of the Program.
3.2 Referred friend
To qualify as an eligible referral, the invited individual must be entirely new to Cirellum — meaning they must not have held a registered account on cirellum.com at any prior point under any email address or identity. They must register a new account using the referral link or referral code provided by the referring participant and must complete a first purchase of any course or lesson package, with payment successfully processed and confirmed through Stripe.
Self-referrals — where the referring participant and the referred friend are the same individual operating under different accounts, email addresses, or devices — are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and potential account termination for both accounts involved. - How the Program Works
Step 1 — Share your referral link
The referring participant logs in to their Cirellum account, accesses the Referral Program section, and obtains their unique referral link or code. This link may be shared through any personal communication channel, including messaging applications, email, or social media, provided the sharing is done on a personal, non-commercial basis and does not constitute unsolicited marketing.
Step 2 — Friend registers and purchases
The invited friend follows the referral link, creates a new Cirellum account, and completes their first course or lesson package purchase. The purchase must be fully paid and confirmed through Stripe before the referral is considered valid. Pending, failed, or subsequently refunded transactions do not qualify.
Step 3 — Reward is credited
Once the friend’s enrollment is confirmed and payment has cleared, a 10% discount credit is automatically applied to the referring participant’s account. Cirellum will send an email notification confirming the credit has been issued. The credit is then automatically applied at checkout on the referring participant’s next qualifying purchase. - The Reward — 10% Discount Credit
5.1 Nature and application
The reward takes the form of a 10% discount applied automatically to the total pre-tax value of the referring participant’s next course or lesson package purchase. The discount is applied at checkout without the need to enter a code. It applies to a single transaction only and does not carry over to subsequent purchases if unused beyond its validity period.
5.2 Conditions of use
The discount credit is subject to the following conditions. It is a single-use benefit per qualifying referral and cannot be applied to more than one transaction. It cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount code, welcome offer, or special pricing arrangement that may be active at the time of purchase. It applies to the course or lesson package price before taxes and carries no minimum purchase value requirement. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, refunded, or transferred under any circumstances.
5.3 Validity period
Each 10% discount credit is valid for 90 days from the date it is issued to the referring participant’s account. Credits that are not applied to a purchase within this period expire automatically and cannot be reinstated or extended. Cirellum will send a reminder notification prior to expiry. The 90-day validity period is fixed and is not extended in the event of technical issues, inactivity, or other circumstances outside Cirellum’s direct control. - Prohibited Conduct and Anti-Abuse
The Program is designed exclusively to reward genuine, good-faith sharing with real new learners. Cirellum takes the integrity of the Program seriously and actively monitors for patterns of abuse. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification, account suspension, or permanent termination, as well as the cancellation of any credits generated through the prohibited activity.
Prohibited conduct includes self-referrals using multiple accounts, email addresses, or devices; creating fictitious, duplicate, or fraudulent accounts for the purpose of generating referral credits; using automated tools, bots, browser extensions, or scripts to generate referral links or simulate sign-ups; purchasing referrals or compensating third parties to register through a referral link; posting referral links in spam messages, unsolicited email campaigns, or on prohibited or low-quality websites; and misrepresenting the nature, quality, or scope of Cirellum’s services when sharing referral links.
Cirellum’s decisions regarding abuse, disqualification, and account action are made at its sole discretion and are final. Where fraudulent activity results in financial gain, Cirellum reserves the right to pursue recovery through lawful means. - Data Protection and Privacy
When a referring participant shares a referral link with a friend, they do so on a personal, voluntary basis. Cirellum does not collect, store, or process the friend’s personal data until that individual independently chooses to create an account on cirellum.com. The referring participant is responsible for ensuring that they share referral links only with individuals who have expressed a genuine interest in receiving them.
By participating in the Program, the referring participant confirms that they are not distributing referral links in a manner that constitutes unsolicited commercial communication, and that they understand Cirellum will process any data provided by the referred friend solely in accordance with the Cirellum Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018. - Tax Considerations
Referral discount credits represent a reduction in the purchase price of a future transaction and are not considered a cash payment or taxable income in most circumstances. However, the tax treatment of promotional benefits may vary depending on the participant’s jurisdiction, tax residency, and individual circumstances. Cirellum does not provide tax advice. Participants who are uncertain about the tax implications of receiving referral benefits are encouraged to seek independent professional advice. - Modification and Termination of the Program
Cirellum reserves the right to modify, suspend, or permanently terminate the Referral Program at any time, with or without prior notice. Such changes may include, but are not limited to, adjustments to the reward structure, eligibility criteria, validity periods, and overall Program mechanics. Any material changes will be communicated by updating this Policy on the Website with a revised effective date.
Credits validly earned and credited to a participant’s account prior to a material program change will be honoured for the remainder of their 90-day validity period, except in cases where the Program is terminated due to widespread abuse, a legal or regulatory requirement, or a force majeure event. Continued participation in the Program after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. - General Provisions
This Policy operates alongside and does not replace Cirellum’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Payment / Billing Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy. In the event of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail. This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and any disputes arising in connection with it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. - Contact
